A few days ago, I was asked why I don't use characters like this:

While I would love to use characters from "that anime" the reality is, it's illegal to do so and also sell your work.  I prefer also to make gender-bent versions of popular characters so that I can also craft unique stories around them - as you'll see with WBZ in the coming versions.

Still, there are creators out there making this sort of stuff. While I'm not too sure about the quality of their content, you can find it if you look deeply enough!
