To unlock story points you have to recruit certain characters (they are labeled as such). There are no characters like that in version 1 or 2 of the game, 3+ only.
i love the game and the grindy aspects but i have a sugestion (the character has the choice to turn into a great ape at night to boost the zeni and bp gain by 10×.
While im sure there are changes I could have done myself to help move this along, I do suggest some more options to gain zeni/stats. For most of the game, I was either completely AFK during training, or autoclicking the passage of time to get more money from planets. Im sure this isnt the objective for you, so I wanted to inform you that the speed is a concern. Great game otherwise, love the idea behind it!
Traditionally , Chinese dragons (the type that Shenlong is styled after, it's in the name after all) don't have legs or even wings. They tend to have serpentine bodies and if they do have limbs at all, they are small.
In that context, this fits the idea of a Chinese Wyvern, so that's where the naming comes from. Well, there's also another reason - but I'll reserve that for future updates.

Well most games that involve training it would increase as you move through the day. In this one however, training the girls (which seems to be the only viable way to gain power) takes real time. So it feels much slower compared to others.
I see, do you have other games you could recommend? It's always nice to play other games for inspiration.
As for your concerns, it may be helpful to understand how to increase TBP. The main way , early on, is weighted gear, unlock it then increase it's level.
I'll add some text that helps you see the amount of TBP you've acquired from each piece of weighted gear for the future. By version 3 there are more pieces, so that means more TBP.
Martial Arts also raise TBP permanently once acquired:
These are present in the version I'm currently developing.
Transformations increase both the amount of TBP you gain, and the rate at which you acquire it.
Transformations are available in version 2+ (available now with Kaienken transformation).
I'm also working out the mechanics of King Kaien , Guru's Hidden Power / Awakening and Elder Kaien's Mystic Training. All of these will further increase the TBP you have at your disposal.
Version 2 is on Patreon, Version 3 will release next month on Patreon and the public version will be updated 8/1/24. The public version is updated every 2 months.
